STOH and Franciscan Health will be hosting an Immunization Clinic on August 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the Highland High School LGI (enter through Door B). All school-aged vaccines will be available. Please bring a copy of your insurance card and photo ID. If you don't have insurance, immunizations will cost $10 each. For any questions, please email our Nurse Coordinator, Mrs. Andrea Warner, RN, at awarner@highland.k12.in.us.

DEPENDENT CARE INFORMATION:

Dependent Care will be closed from Friday, May 29th through Wednesday, August 5th. For students registered for the fall, you must come to the Southridge Dependent Care location to fill out August schedules & necessary paperwork on the dates below. PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT BE OPEN WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12TH, so please plan accordingly. The first day of school is Thursday, August 13th. I will be returning emails periodically throughout the summer.

Parent Access update: 2/25/25 Due to issues with security we have been limiting our connections to INTERNAL only. Parents are welcome during the day to come into the schools or central office and use an internal device to check grades etc. Beginning 2/25 we will open Parent Access from 4PM to 6AM each day. This will open the system up partially until we see how the system reacts. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to resolve the issues.

Due to extreme wind chill forecasts for tomorrow 1/21/25, School Town of Highland will be holding a synchronous e-learning day. Building principals and teachers will communicate directly schedules and expectations. Forecasts show improvements Wednesday and beyond so we are hopeful this will only impact school on Tuesday. We appreciate your hopeful understanding.

The Highland Fire Department is hosting an open house on Saturday, October 5, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Central Fire Station located on Highway Avenue. The tailgate originally scheduled for tonight, August 15, has been POSTPONED, according to the Highland Athletic Booster Club. It is now rescheduled for Thursday, August 22, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Main Square. See you in a week!
