Interested in making a greater difference around Highland? Come check out the sustainability club!  We will meet this monday in the LGI after school.  Bring your ideas and get ready to work on the homecoming banner as well!  Any questions see Ms.Oaks in room 622.

Diversity University will meet to plan upcoming projects and events in Ms. Wagener's room after school today from 3-4 pm.  

Purdue University Northwest will be coming to visit HHS on Monday, September 20th from 10am to 11am!

Students who sign up for college visits will receive an email reminder of the visit that they can use as their pass to leave class.  Students are responsible for work missed and are encouraged to discuss this absence with their teacher in advance.

The sophomore class is selling succulents and houseplants through Friday, September 17th.  All juniors are expected to participate in the fundraiser.  Please see Ms. Wagener in Room 130 if you'd like to place an order or have questions.

Highland Theatre Company: Auditions for Highland Theatre Company's fall production Puffs: or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years At a Certain School of Magic and Magic. will take place on Monday, September 20th after school in the auditorium. This hilarious play is based on the popular  book series about a certain boy wizard but tells the tale of the considerably less well known and certainly less talented group of students known as the "Puffs." The Class of 2024 will be selling popcorn this Friday outside the cafeteria during all lunches!  Each bag is only $1! 

The Key Club will be doing a Miracle Minute at the Boys Soccer game this Saturday at 5:00pm.  Please come out and support Boys soccer and Riley's Children's Hospital.  

Anyone who plans on playing Boy's Basketball for the Trojans this season and is not competing in a fall sport, please see Mr. Fabian in room 302. We have begun workouts after school and encourage you to join us as we get ready for the upcoming season!

Freshman class of 2025 will have a call out meeting today at 3:00pm in Room 136.

LUNCH:  Nacho Supreme w/beans, cherry tomatoes and fruit AND turkey sandwich w/chips.

Girls soccer travelled to Lowell last night.  Varsity lost 1-2.  Sarah Swallow had 14 saves; Cameron Shaw scored on a penalty kick and Kendal Carruba led the team with most shots. The team had 15 shots, out shooting Lowell by 9 shots.  JV lost 0-2.

Boys soccer won 3-0 over Lowell at home last night.  Victor Serna had 2 goals and 1 assist; Jake Taylor had 1 goal; Ian Fulkerson had 1 assist and Aerik Tanis had 5 saves.

Volleyball lost to Chesterton last night but it was the most incredible game, 23-25, 16-25, 25-22, 24-26.  Team totals were 65 digs, 15 blocks,42 assists and 45 kills.

Boys tennis won 5-0 at River Forest last night.
