SOCIAL EVENTS: EVENT PLACE TIME

JV/V Boys Soccer vs Illianna Christian Illiana Christian 5:30/6:30 pm

  JV will be ½ game.

There will be a 7 am meeting before school on Thursday, September 2nd in the LGI to discuss upcoming events and Homecoming activities.  Please see Ms. Wagener or Mrs. Larson if you have any questions. 

Diversity University is hosting a call-out meeting afterschool on Thursday, September 2nd in room 212. If you are looking for a group that celebrates and promotes diverse voices and cultures, then this is the group for you. Join us for a brief informational meeting to find out more.

National Honor Society will be meeting on Tuesday, August 31. Please check the NHS 2021-2022 Google Classroom to sign up! 

The Key Club Callout has been rescheduled and will take place Wed Sept 1st after school in the library.  If you cannot stay for the meeting, there will be a QR code available and you can stop in and scan it for information.

Sustainability Club meets every other Monday in the LGI.  Our next meeting is today, then each gold Monday after that.  Come check it out if you're interested!  

 Are you interested in promoting gender equality? Join Girl Up! We focus on fundraising for girls in need, and fighting gender inequality in our community. Come to our call out meeting in room 610 at 3 pm on Tuesday, August 31st.

Girls golf had a great day at Wheeler on Friday.  All of the girls shot personal best scores.  The team was led by Brooke Munoz and Lily Andjelich got to putt for birdie for the very first time.  Nice job girls!!  

 V football won 41-7 at Whiting on Friday.  

 V girls soccer tied 3-3 with Griffith on Saturday.  Highland had 10 shots. Sarah Swallow had 4 saves, Kendal Carrubba had one goal and one assist, Cameron Shaw had headed off a corner kick which resulted in a goal and Allie DiSanto and Kate Robinson also had assists. 

 V boys soccer lost 0-6 to Valpo at home on Saturday.  Aerik Tanis had 15 saves.  JV lost 0-2.

 Boys JV tennis participated at the Lowell invite on Saturday and went 6 and 4.  Alex Smith was undefeated.  

Girls XC placed 7th at the Lake Central invite on Saturday.  Nina Koutz was our top runner at 17th.
