KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS COMING! Check out the District's Website for more information.
In partnership with Indiana schools, the Division of Family Resources is once again issuing P-EBT BENEFITS! The School Town Of Highland will be submitting a list of eligible free and reduced students in January 2021 for the eligible months of October 2020 - December 2020 and cards will be mailed out by the State of Indiana at the end of January. There will also be future quarterly submissions and benefit issuances throughout the rest of this school year and into next school year. Visit https://www.in.gov/fssa/dfr/dfr-policy-changes-and-actions/pandemic-ebt/ for more information on the benefits and FAQ's. It is important that you apply for assistance (if you have not done so already) by completing a free and reduced application. It is also important that if your students' are eligible to receive the P-Ebt card that you communicate any address change to your child's school. Information is sent to the State and benefit cards are issued to the last known address on file with the District.
Free Meals through the end of December for all students. For more information please see the School Town of Highland Food Service webpage. http://www.schoolnutritionandfitness.com/index.php?sid=2809100435083594

Parents/Guardians, The online application to apply for free and reduced meals is now open. We encourage all families to apply for assistance online if you think you will qualify. Please DO NOT fill out this application if you received a letter in the past 2 weeks from the food service office stating that your household was already eligible for benefits for the 2020-2021 school year. The link is available by going to the STOH website and navigating to the MENU at the top of the page and selecting FOOD SERVICES under District Services. Click on the Meal Application Icon in the upper left on the food service homepage. A link to the application will appear both in the middle of the webpage and in the left column. If you need assistance, there is a document with instructions included on the food service home page or you are welcome to call our office at 219-924-7400. Thank you!
